29 CFR 1910.101(b):The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: On or about December 14, 2022, a 20 gallon compressed LP gas cylinder connected to an open flame heat stream burner, was stored next to a thinner and paints container. This condition exposed employees to fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.106(d)(3)(ii)(a):The bottom, top, door, and sides of cabinet were not at least No. 18 gage sheet iron and double walled with 1 1/2 - inch air space. Joints were not riveted, welded or made tight by some equally effective means. The door was not provided with a three-point lock, and the door sill shall be raised at least 2 inches above the bottom of the cabinet. On or about December 14, 2022 metal cabinet used to store flammable liquids such as paint and thinner was not provided with a door and three point lock. This condition exposed employees to fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.110(b)(20)(iv)(a): All commercial appliances were not installed in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 54-1969, Standard for the Installation of Gas Appliances and Gas Piping, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6: On or about December 14, 2022, an industrial heat stream heater that recirculates the air in a building's painting room was used were flammable liquids such as but not limited to paint thinner, paints and LP gas cylinder were present. These conditions exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards. OSHA's standard incorporated by reference 1910.6(t)(10) and 1910.6(t)(12) reference to the following NFPA standards: 1) NFPA 54 (ANSI Z22 ): Section A.10.9.2.2 Recirculation of room air can be hazardous in the presence of flammables solids, liquids, gases, explosive materials, and substances that can become toxic whe exposed to flame or heat. 2)NFPA 58-2008 Standard for the Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (ANSI Z106.1-1970), IBR approved for ��1910.110 (b)(3)(iv) and (i)(3) (i) and (ii); and 1910.178(f)(2); under the section F5.21.4 Direct Gas-Fired Tank Heaters section 5.21.4.1 states: Direct gas-fired tank heaters shall be designed exclusively for outdoor aboveground use and so that there is no direct flame impingement upon the container.
