29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) Production/Tooling Area (Aisleways - Facility): On or about December 01, 2022, and times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that forklift training was not provided to employees operating forklifts while transporting loads (i.e.: bumper racks) to other areas in the facility.
