29 CFR  1910.36(d)(1): Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors.   On or about January 3, 2023, employer did not ensure the front main entrance was working properly and could open without special knowledge to prevent fire and entrapment hazards.   Dollar General Corporation, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1), which is contained in OSHA inspection number 1278507, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 4, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 4807 Sunnyvale St, Dallas TX 75216.   The Dollar General  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1566292, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 880 Spruce Street Baldwin, WI 54002.  The Dollar General  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1376785, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 29, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 7025 US 231 Panama City, FL 32405.
