29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids, or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  At the residential construction site located at 1802 E 127th Terrace in Grandview Missouri: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to eye and face injuries from flying particles when working with wood and using a pneumatic nail gun to secure the wood frames. The employees were not wearing any form of eye protection and were also working with hammers and staplers.
