29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1):  A powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition.  On or about 1/17/2023, Specialty Engineering Corporation had not ensured that any powered industrial truck which was found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, was removed from service. A Towmotor forklift, Model 462S64024 was defective and in service at the time of the inspection. The forklift was missing pads on both brake pedals.
