On or about January 18, 2023, employees were exposed to fire hazards when the employer failed to provide at least 2 exit routes for employees to evacuate during emergencies.  The employer had 4 first floor exit routes which were not adequate in that (1) three exit routes were blocked and not available and (2) an additional first floor exit route did not meet the minimum width of 28 inches such that the hallway leading to the exit was partially blocked / limited with stacked boxes of merchandise on both sides of the aisleway allowing the egress path only 20 inches wide.
