29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  (a) Commercial construction building at 390-394 SR-81, McDonough, GA 30253, Roof: On or about January 20, 2023, employees utilizing pneumatic nail guns and hammers were exposed to struck-by hazards, in that eye protection was not used by the employees engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   Commercial construction building at 390-394 SR-81, McDonough, GA 30253, Roof: On or about January 20, 2023, The employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 14-feet to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.
