29 CFR  1910.334(a)(2)(ii):There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service:  a.) Tops Friendly Markets, LLC, Back Room, on or about 1/25/23, and times prior thereto: power cords were observed with the outer insulation covering pulled away exposing the interior cables that had pulled away from the charging plug adaptor and were repaired with electrical tape.  The damaged electrical cords include but were not limited to: the power cord being used to charge the battery on the Yale MPB040-EN24T2748 Serial number B827N63687J.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
