29 CFR  1910.36(d)(1): Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors:  a) Warehouse exit door by loading dock  The exit door leading from the warehouse to outside was locked with a padlock preventing employee access in the event of an emergency.  Violation observed on or about 01/26/2023.

29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  a) Warehouse exit door by loading dock  The exit was blocked by pallets and a Genie lift preventing employee access in the event of an emergency.  b) Basement exit  The exit door leading from the basement to the outside was blocked by the gate which was not fully pushed up preventing the door from opening.  Violation observed on or about 01/26/2023.
