29 CFR  1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c):  a) Worksite was located at 425 Cedarbridge Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701  Employees were exposed to caught in hazards when working in an excavation that was unprotected.   The excavation had sheer vertical walls and no engineered shoring system in place to protect employees from injury in the event of a collapse.  The employees were working constructing the footings and foundation for a community entertainment complex.      Violation was observed on or about September 15, 2022.
