29 CFR  1910.104(b)(8)(vi):Oxygen storage containers, piping, valves, regulating equipment, and other accessories were not protected against physical damage and tampering:  A.) Amthor Steel, Outside of North Bay, on or about 2/6/23 and times prior thereto: outdoor oxygen storage tank was not protected from unwanted contact of equipment used in the area. Equipment including but not limited to motor vehicles and fork trucks are used in the general area.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.253(d)(3)(i): The employer did not ensure that distribution lines were installed and maintained in a safe operating condition:  A.) Amthor Steel, Manifold, on or about 2/6/23 and times prior thereto: two of the distribution lines of oxygen at the manifold were observed to be leaking at the fittings and other areas.  Employees use the oxygen from these lines to perform tasks including, but not limited to, for oxygen fuel gas cutting operations.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation.  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. IN ADDITION, abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic, or video evidence or abatement or other written records.
