29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a)Prince Manufacturing Corporation - Brookings at 111 32nd Avenue, Brookings, SD 57006: On or about and at times prior to February 14, 2023, the employer did not ensure the Hydraulic Build Table in the assembly area was properly guarded. This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards associated with approximately 12 X 18-inch area of unguarded mechanical action. (b)Prince Manufacturing Corporation - Brookings at 111 32nd Avenue, Brookings, SD 57006: On or about and at times prior to February 14, 2023, the employer did not ensure the Miller MR 2000 Robot Welder in the Welding area was properly guarded. This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards associated with an unguarded area surrounding the Robotic arm of the machine

This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards associated with approximately 19 x 8-inches of unguarded conveyor chain and sprocket.
