29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) 4 Cameron Lane, Lumberton, NJ -  Employees exposed to fall hazards in that the employer did not ensure the employees working from a steep roof (7:12 and 8:12 pitch), approximately 20 feet above the ground, were using a fall protection system. This condition was observed on or about March 9, 2023.  NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.503(b)(1):29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written training certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer:  a) 4 Cameron Lane, Lumberton, NJ - The employer could not verify that the employees were trained in the hazards associated when working from heights, the employer did not produce certifications of employees trained in fall protection. Noted on or about March 22, 2023.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
