29 CFR  1926.451(b)(3): 29 CFR 1926.451(b)(3): The front edge of platforms were more than 14 inches (36 cm) from the face of the work where guardrail systems were not erected along the front edge and/or personal fall arrest systems were not used in accordance with paragraph (g) of this section to protect employees from falling:   a) 6 Anthony Drive Spring Valley NY, 10977:  The employer did not ensure that the scaffold's front edge was less than 14 inches from the face of the work.  Employees were installing vinyl siding on a platform that was 22 inches from the face of the work.  Condition was noted on 03/09/2023.    NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE INSPECTION CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION.OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.452(j)(2): Poles of pump jack scaffold(s) were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing, or equivalent, at the bottom, top and other points as necessary:   a) 6 Anthony Drive Spring Valley NY, 10977:  The employer did not ensure that pump jack scaffold(s) were secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing, or equivalent, at the bottom.  Employees were on a 10ft pump jack scaffold installing vinyl siding without triangular cross bracing at the bottom.   Condition noted on 03/09/2023.
