29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 631 Dallas Ave, Selma, AL; On or about March 8, 2023 the controlling employer, Syntreme, Inc failed to ensure that its sub-contractor, Edwardo Mendoza-Castilla, protected it's employees from fall hazards of approximately 12 feet in that a portable ladder was used to gain access to an upper level and did not extend at least 3 feet above the surface being accessed.
