29 CFR 1926.502(d)(11):Lifelines shall be protected against being cut or abraded. a. Watson Handyman Service LLC at a worksite located at 44135 Marietta Road, Caledonia, OH 43314: On or about March 21, 2023, the employer did not ensure that vertical lifelines used for fall protection at or near leading edges were protected against being cut. A vertical lifeline, rope grab was used as a personal fall arrest system (PFAS) by the roofing crew near 90 degree leading edges while installing a metal roof at heights beyond 6 feet. The lifeline was not protected from being cut by the 90 degree edge in the event of a fall. The following condition exposed the employee to falls of over 20 feet.
