29 CFR  1910.179(b)(2):Overhead and gantry cranes, constructed and installed on or after August 31, 1971, did not meet the design specifications of the American National Standard Safety Code for Overhead and Gantry Cranes, ANSI B30.2.0-1967 which is incorporated by reference as specified in � 1910.6:  Employee(s) operating the overhead crane in the shipping department located at 1604 Roseport Road, Elwood, Kansas were exposed to struck-by hazards.  The second column post on the north side of the building which supports the overhead crane was structurally damaged.  The base of the second column post had moved between 7 - 8 inches from the original installation position after being impacted by a forklift.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area:  Employee(s) engaged in using propane, argon, oxygen, and other hazardous chemicals  to operate forklifts or welding equipment at the facility located at 1604 Roseport Road, Elwood, KS were exposed to chemical hazards.  Hazard communication training was not provided to inform employees of the hazards associated with hazardous chemicals used in the facility.  Health effects associated with exposure to chemicals used in the facility include burns from fire or explosion and asphyxiation.
