29 CFR 1926.1051(a): Stairway(s) or ladder(s) were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, or no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided:  location: front of house on or about: 3/29/23  a) Employees were not provided with a stairway or ladder while going from the ground to the first floor entryway. There was a change in elevation of 4'2".  NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were not used only for the purpose for which they were designed:  location: side of house on or about: 3/29/23    a) Employees were using an 10 ft. A-frame ladder to access/egress the first floor.  The ladder was used in the leaning position. The spreaders were not opened up.  NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
