29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): Industrial truck(s) in use did not meet the applicable requirements of design, construction, stability, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks.  (a)  Hilton Extended Stay/Home 2 Suites construction site and Jackson Street (road) in Thomasville, GA: On or about On April 5, 2023, the employer did not ensure safe operation of an industrial lift truck, in that a forklift operator did not wear a seatbelt while operating a forklift on an uneven surface, which did not meet the applicable requirements of operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks, thereby exposing this employee to ejection and struck-by hazards.
