29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids, or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  On or about 4/11/2023, Nelson Perez Roofing was installing roofing materials on a roof of a residential building located at 6027 Grand Mariner Dr. in Arnold, MO.  The employer did not ensure each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection while using pneumatic nail guns.  The employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  On or about 4/11/2023, Nelson Perez Roofing was installing roofing materials on a roof of a residential building located at 6027 Grand Mariner Dr. in Arnold, MO.  The employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.  Two employees were observed on a 3/12 sloped roof, approximately nine to sixteen feet above the ground without utilizing fall protection.
