29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On 12 April 2023, two employees of Eagle Construction & Design, LLC were observed working on a walking/working surface on lot #52 Dogwood Prairie Drive in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employees were observed on the walking/working surface near an unprotected side or edge that was greater than 6 feet without fall protection, exposing them to falls to the ground below.
