OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees while using a DeWalt Model DWE 402 angle grinder without the side handle while sanding worn non-skid tape from the starboard aft deck's line handling area.  Location: Grey Lady IV drydocked at 12 Union Wharf Fairhaven, MA  On or about April 14, 2023, the side handle on a DeWalt Model DWE402 angle grinder was not attached per the owner manual's specifications exposing employees to laceration and amputation injuries.
