29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a) New residential construction located at 1458 Liberty Park Drive, Braselton, GA 30517, Front side: On or about 04/28/2023, and at times prior the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic finish, siding, and framing nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees operating these tools at 120 PSI. Employees were exposed to plastic and metal collated fragments and fasteners from each tool.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii):For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. a) New residential construction located at 1458 Liberty Park Drive, Braselton, GA 30517, Right Side: On or about 04/28/2023, and at times prior the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 16-feet, 7- inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not used while working from a pump jack scaffold system engaged in Hardie-Plank Siding installation activities.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Examination. The employer shall ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined on the basis of the following considerations: a) Residential construction located at 1458 Liberty Park Drive, Braselton, GA 30517. On or about 04/28/2023, and at times prior the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools employees were using, in that an orange 100-ft. electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
