29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about 4/28/2023, at the jobsite located at 8020 3rd Pl S., Royal Palm Beach, Florida, employees were exposed to a 15-foot fall hazard while working on the roof of a residential home without fall protection.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed, the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect, and/or a grasping device was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder.    On or about 4/28/2023, at jobsite located at 8020 3rd Pl S., Royal Palm Beach, Florida, a ladder used to gain access to the roof did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing, exposing employees to a 15-foot fall hazard.
