29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) New residential construction located at 3349 English Elm, Loganville, GA 30052, Top Plate: On or about 05/01/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided while operating these tools at 120 PSI.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502.  a) New residential construction located at 3349 English Elm, Loganville, GA 30052: On or about 05/01/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet, 3-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities using the trusses as a walking/working surface.

29 CFR  1926.403(b)(1): Examination. The employer shall ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined on the basis of the following considerations:  a) New residential construction located at 3349 English Elm, Loganville, GA 30052: On or about 05/01/2023, and at times prior the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools employees were using, in that a orange 100-ft. electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
