29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc. Employees engaged in tortilla manufacturing operations at 4433 South 94th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68127, were exposed to running nip points and rotating part hazards in that employees were required to inspect tortillas on mixer #'s 1, 2, 3 and 4 vertical conveyor belt(s). The vertical conveyor belts on mixer #'s 1-4 were not guarded as required by the standard.

29 CFR 1904.41(a)(2):Annual electronic submission of OSHA Form 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses by establishments with 20 or more employees but fewer than 250 employees in designated industries. If your establishment had 20 or more employees but fewer than 250 employees at any time during the previous calendar year, and your establishment is classified in an industry listed in appendix A to subpart E of this part, then you must electronically submit information from OSHA Form 300A Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses to OSHA or OSHA's designee. You must submit the information once a year, no later than the date listed in paragraph (c) of this section of the year after the calendar year covered by the form. The employer failed to submit OSHA 300A summary logs (2022) before the required deadline.
