Plant #2, "Big Blue" dip tank area, on or about May 11th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, JC 701C Alkaline cleaner during additions of the product to the "Big Blue" dip tanks.  The emergency eyewash/shower station (plumbed) was not in compliance with ANSI/ISEA 358.1 for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment in that:     1.    Consistent weekly visual inspections of the eyewash station and shower were not conducted.  2.    The emergency eyewash unit was not activated weekly to verify proper operation.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
