TWA) for a monitoring period of approximately 60 minutes. The remaining un-sampled period of 420 minutes is assumed to have zero exposure.

This was most recently demonstrated on or about May 16, 2023 and August 21, 2023, and at times prior to when an employee was wearing a half-face elastomeric tight-fitting respirator as they dry mopped the gun range and conducted quarterly clean up as part of their regular duties. The employer did not conduct an initial determination to ensure the level of exposure to lead experienced by employees were at or above the action level.

29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: At the public indoor shooting range located at 7575 W Belle Center Road in Joplin Missouri, 64801:Employees were exposed to toxic or hazardous substances in the form of lead. This was recently documented on or about May 16, 2023, and at times prior to when employees would perform their daily duties, including eating and drinking in areas where lead was present on various surfaces. Lead accumulation was identified at "license holder, " "work cellular phone," "merchandise scanner," and "register keyboard." Failing to maintain surfaces that are as free as practicable from the accumulation of lead can create an ingestion, inhalation, and skin contact hazard to the employees.

This was most recently demonstrated on or about May 16, 2023, and at times prior to when the employer did not establish a written hazard communication program for chemical exposure in the facility. The employees were exposed to chemicals such as solvents, D-Lead cleaning supplies, and gun oil.
