29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems,  or personal fall arrest systems:   On or about May 18, 2023, employees installing roofing shingles on a three-story apartment building were not protected from fall hazards of approximately 141 feet to the ground below.  The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1564690, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 23, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 149 Princeton Crossroads, Princeton, TX 75407.
