29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.   a) 50 Wilson Avenue, New Square, NY:   On or about 6/8/23, the employer did not provide adequate training on procedures to be followed to minimize fall hazards as two employees  working separately on the roof were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet when they disconnected from their lifelines and were unaware that they needed to stay connected to their lifelines at all times when working and walking along the roof.   The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, failure to comply will result in additional penalty of $ 1,000.00.
