29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  At a residential worksite located at 503 Hamburg St, St. Joseph MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties were not wearing eye protection while operating pneumatic nail guns and other hand tools. This was documented on or about 07/12/2023.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At residential worksite located at 503 Hamburg St, St Joseph, MO -- employees engaged in roofing duties were not using a personal fall arrest system (harness, lanyard/rope and anchor system) or any other form of fall protection system. This exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 19 feet to ground level. This was documented on or about 07/12/2023.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  At a residential worksite located at 503 Hamburg St, St. Joseph, MO -- employees were using a portable ladder fully extended that did not extend three (3) rungs above the landing surface. This exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 10 feet to ground level. This was documented on or about 07/12/2023.
