29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):The point of operation of machines whose operation exposed an employee to injury, was not guarded: a)Mechanic Shop; On or about July 19, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation and puncture hazards, in that the drill press (Rockwell Delta) did not have a guard to protect employees while performing required mechanic job duties. b)Oven Room; On or about July 19, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to laceration hazards and eye injuries, in that the large cut-off saw did not have a guard to protect employees when cutting the end of a motor off. c)Oven Room; On or about July 19, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to laceration hazards and eye injuries, in that the small cut-off saw did not have a guard to protect employees when cutting the end of a motor off. d)Winder Room; On or about July 19, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards, in that suspended copper wire from storage buckets to the Samatic Coil Winding Machine (Type SA 2780 EXT Serial 1947M) did not have a guard to protect employees when monitoring motor coiling and when collecting items from storage racks located in the vicinity.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provided at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals: (a) Oven Room; On or about July 19, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that the Xylene and Varnish dip tank did not contain a label indicating the contents and the physical and health hazards associate to the chemicals when employees are required to dip motor in the mixture daily. b) Oven Room; On or about July 19, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that the Exxon Mobile Polyrex Grease did not contain a label indicating the contents and the physical and health hazards associated to the chemical when employees are required to apply the grease to motors daily.
