29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. a. COE Area of Mill 2 - On or about June 19, 2023, the employer failed to ensure staffing employees assigned to the host employer to perform servicing and maintenance under this section were trained on how to recognize and control hazardous energy in accordance with the employer's lockout tagout program and procedures. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
