29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a. 260 Griffith Street, Jersey City, NJ 07307 Employees used a Werner extension ladder to access a residential rooftop to install new roofing deck without extending the ladder at least 3 feet above the landing surface. The access points of the roof were approximately 28 feet to the ground. Violation observed 07/17/2023
