29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. a) At JW Pallet, located at 1950 Marley Drive, Haines City Florida 33844: On or about 03/23/2023, the employer exposed employees to caught-in hazards in that, lockout/tagout procedures were not developed, documented, and utilized for the various machines at the location, such as the Little Buddy Mat Nailing Machine and Stacker Machine, for the control of potentially hazardous energy while employees were engaged in servicing, maintenance and/or un-jamming the machines.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: a) Mat Nailing Machine and Mat Stacker Machine: On or about 03/23/2023 the employer exposed employees to caught-in hazards in that affected employees were not instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure while employees were working to unjam material that was stuck in the mat stacker machine.
