29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) City Hall of Burlington, 415 15th St, Burlington, CO 80807: On or about July 28, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards of 11 feet 3 inches to the ground below, while performing roofing operations on the leading edge of roof without fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) City Hall of Burlington, 415 15th St, Burlington, CO 80807: On or about July 28, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards of 11 feet 3 inches to the ground below, while performing roofing operations on City Hall without fall protection. The employer had fall protection in their work truck but did not think it was necessary for the job at City Hall due to the low slope of the roof.
