29 CFR  1926.304(i)(1):Each circular hand-fed rip saw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw blade above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut.  (a) On or before August 1, 2023, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while using an unguarded table saw, Dewalt Model DWE7491, to cut framing material.   Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item. See enclosed "Certification of Corrective Actions Worksheet."

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  (a) On August 1st, 2023  framers working on the roof of a new multifamily building  were using an A frame ladder to access and exit the roof. The top rail of the ladder was below the landing and employees had to dangle their feet to use the ladder. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of 10 feet. 29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:   (a)On August 1st, 2023 framers working on the roof of a new multifamily building were using the top step of a stepladder to access and exit the roof. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of greater than 10 feet.
