Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19 (d) (1).

29 CFR  1926.1051(a):A stairway or ladder was not provided at all personnel points of access where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist is provided:  428 Pleasant St., Brockton, MA: On or about August 1, 2023, an employee was observed climbing from the ladder jack scaffold set up at this location onto the roof of the residence being roofed, which was more than 3 feet apart and no ladder or safe means of access was provided to these employees.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19 (d) (1).

The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  428 Pleasant St., Brockton, MA: On or about August 1, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards are part of their assigned duties and the employer had not trained them prior to exposure to these hazards in topics such as but not limited to recognition of fall hazards, dangers of fall hazards and procedures each employee must take to prevent or minimize risk of such exposures.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19 (d) (1).
