29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  Roof : On or about July 6, 2023  employees were exposed to eye hazards when using the pneumatic nail gun and a circular saw to install roof sheathing without the use of eye protection.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(2)(i):Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  Jobsite:  On or about August 4, 2023 the employees who were installing the roof sheathing on a commercial one story building were exposed to fall hazards of up to 14 feet 3 inches from the roof edge to the ground below.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:  Jobsite:  On or about August 4, 2023 the employees who were installing the roof sheathing on a commercial one story building were exposed to fall hazards and were not trained in fall protection and the procedures to be followed to minimize such hazards.
