Along the Southwest wall of building 308, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA, on or about August, 8, 2023, the employer exposed employees to electrical hazards, in that the areas in front of electrical panels, which controlled the equipment employees worked with and performed maintenance on, were blocked with boxes of product and supplies.

29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:  a) At building 308, along the Northern wall, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA, on or about August 8, 2023, the employer exposed employees to entrapment hazards, in that exit routes were not maintained free and unobstructed due to fans and boxes stacked and blocking exit paths, while employees worked inside the building.   b) At building 610, throughout the facility, located at 610 East Main Street, Swainsboro, GA, on or about August 8, 2023, the employer exposed employees to entrapment hazards, in that exit routes were not maintained free and unobstructed due to fans and boxes stacked and blocking exit paths and doors, while employees worked inside the building.   Place Vendome Holding Co., Inc. dba R & F Marketing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1564502, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 6, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA.  Place Vendome Holding Co., Inc. DBA R & F Marketing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1503876, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA, on or about August 8, 2023, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #3 was not adequately secured.  b)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA, on or about August 8, 2023, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #4 was not adequately secured.  c)  In the blowing area, located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA, on or about August 8, 2023, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that a guard for the air handler on China #5 was not adequately secured.   Place Vendome Holding Co., Inc. dba R & F Marketing  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1606934, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 2, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 308 Glenwood Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
