29 CFR  1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  a) Worksite: 270 Park Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 - Employees were not wearing eye protection and were exposed to eye injuries while operating the Turret Punch Press; on or about 08/23/23.    b) Worksite: 270 Park Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 - Employees were not wearing eye protection and were exposed to eye injuries while drilling during the refurbishing of a pump; on or about 08/23/23.    c) Worksite: 270 Park Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 - Employees were not wearing eye protection and were exposed to eye injuries while utilizing a pneumatic riveter tool to assemble a frame; on or about 08/23/23.    Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
