29 CFR 1926.352(a): Movable fire hazards in the vicinity of unmovable objects that were to be welded on, cut or heated were not taken to a safe place, or otherwise protected:  (a) On or about 8/24/2023, 10 Casia St., San Juan, PR 00921, Zone 2, A1, Basement - the employer exposed an employee to fire hazards in that the employee did not utilize adequate covers, screens, and blankets while performing cutting and torching operations.   NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item, as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
