29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Employees on walking/working surfaces with an unprotected side and/or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a. 280 - 289 Broadway, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002  The employer failed to ensure that the employee was protected from falling from an unprotected edge while performing welding  work for a mixed residential building. The employees were working at the height of approximately 8 feet from the ground without utilizing any form of fall protection.  Violation occurred on or about 03/07/2023.
