OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees who were riding in the bucket of a skid steer:  Employees engaged in concrete construction work at a jobsite located at 7809 F Street, Omaha, Nebraska were exposed to struck-by hazards in that the employer failed to ensure employees did not ride in the bucket of the skid steer while traveling across the jobsite.  FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHODS TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:  1) Ensure employees never ride in/on the bucket or attachment of a skid steer.  2) Develop and implement a written work rule that prohibits riding in the bucket of a skid steer.  3) Retrain all employees on the company work rule prohibiting riding in the bucket of a skid steer and all skid steer operators on the rules outlined in the operators' manual of the skid steer.  4) Develop and implement a random job site inspection program to audit the job performance of the staff.
