29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about September 15, 2023, employees were exposed to injurious corrosive battery acid while filling water into powered industrial vehicle batteries. There were no facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body provided with the work are for immediate emergency use. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
