29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   a) New residential construction located at 5320 Melbourne Lane, Flowery Branch, GA 30542: On or about 10-04-2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided while using these tools at 120 PSI while engaged in framing operations.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:    a) New residential construction located at 5320 Melbourne Lane, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. Roof: On or about 10/04/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 25-feet to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employee installing plywood on the roof of the structure.

(a) New residential construction located at 5320 Melbourne Lane, Flowery Branch, GA 30542: On or about 10/04/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 4 feet in that a stair rail was not installed along the open sides of the stairway.

29 CFR  1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:   a) New residential construction located at 5320 Melbourne Lane, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. On or about 10/04/2023, the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools employees were using, in that a orange 100-ft. electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
