29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  Worksite located at 2117 Tanney St., N. Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were observed working and walking on unprotected edges without the use of any means of fall protection.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access:   Worksite located 2117 Tanney St., N. Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards in that the ladders being used to access the upper landing surfaces were not extended at least 3 feet above the landing surfaces.
