29 CFR  1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  (a) Polidori Meat Processors, Inc, 3800 Dahlia Street, Denver, CO 80207; On or about October 11, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to high noise levels while working at and near the Pacproinc PPI-200 Proleaver/Prostax Meat Stacker. The employer failed to conduct an assessment for the need for hearing protective equipment were noise levels may exceed the permissible exposure limit (PEL).
