29 CFR 1910.25(b)(1):29 CFR 1910.25(b)(1): The employer did not ensure that handrails, stair rail systems, and guardrail systems are provided in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.28. Sidney Feed & Supply, LLC - 418 Illinois St. Sidney, Nebraska 69162 - Employer failed to ensure that stairs were provided with appropriate handrails in the following locations: a) Two sets of stairs located in front of the warehouse loading dock did not have a stair rail system with handrails on the open side. b) The east stairs in the scale area did not have a stair rail system with a handrail on the open side. c) The west stairs in the scale area had a handrail on the open side, but the stair rail system did not have a midrail. Employees use the stairs for loading product. These hazards were last observed on October 18, 2023.

Sidney Feed & Supply, LLC - 418 Illinois St. Sidney, Nebraska 69162 - Employer failed to ensure that stairs had the required minimum width of 22 inches in the following locations: a) Two sets of stairs located in front of the warehouse loading dock had a width of 18 inches. b) The east stairs in the scale area had a width of 19 inches. c) The west stairs in the scale area had a width of 18 inches. Employees use the stairs for loading product. These hazards were last observed on October 18, 2023.
