29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  On October 19, 2023, employees of Maurilio Vasquez Aranda dba: Maurilio Vasquez Aranda were performing roofing work on a residential building located at 2520 Bear Creek Drive in Wentzville, Missouri.  The employer did not ensure eye protection was utilized by employees operating pneumatic nail guns.  Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.

Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems:  On October 19, 2023, employees of Maurilio Vasquez Aranda dba: Maurilio Vasquez Aranda were installing shingles on a residential building located at 2520 Bear Creek Drive in Wentzville, Missouri. The employer did not ensure that fall protection was worn by employees who were performing work on a roof measuring approximately 20 feet above the lower level.  The employees were exposed to fall hazards.
